Donate Today!
Our individual donors make it possible for us to do what we do every day. Through their generous cash donations, we are able to purchase the food supplies and household items we need to serve the hungry in Hall County.
We offer a variety of ways you can make a difference through individual donations to our organization. Program descriptions are listed below for your convenience. If you are a business or organization and wish to make a contribution or set up a matching contribution arrangement or host an event, please see our Partner page. Cash in Care Program: This program supports individuals who wish to donate amounts they choose and at any time rather than through a specific program type like those described below.
Plate Mates Program: This program focuses on the average food cost for our organization to provide three nutritious meals for a day for an individual ($11.05). Donors determine how many days of meals (plates) they wish to provide for an individual by multiplying the number of days x $11.05. Ten days of meals would be $110.50. (Yes, you can always round up!). The Plate Mates Program is especially fun for children in elementary schools who are collecting change or donations and wish to know how many meals they were able to provide. Here's a quick example:
Sponsor a Family Program: This program focuses on donations in increments of $94 which is what it costs us to feed an average family of four for three days of nutritious meals once a month. Amounts available under this program are featured in $94 increments whereby you can sponsor more than one family or sponsor a single family for more than one visit to the Food Pantry. Here's a quick example:
Savvy Shopper Program: This program is an "In Kind Resource" option where you create a bag of nutritious grocery items for a family using the list of food items we commonly provide. Even though we can stretch a cash dollar farther for you with our buying leverage through the Community Food Bank affiliates, some of our super-savvy shoppers through coupons and BOGO's (Buy One Get One Free) are able to do incredible things with their dollars at local grocery stores.
