About Hall County's Food Insecure
Hall County, Georgia is located 35 miles northeast of Atlanta, Georgia. For nearly two centuries, Hall County has been a focal point for arts, education, government and business in Northeast Georgia. Lake Lanier and the rolling foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains provide a beautiful backdrop for Hall County's varied mix of agricultural, industrial, health-care and retail industries. We're proud of Hall County and our world-class sporting events, exceptional public and private schools, recreational and park opportunities, and growing economy. Yet, like other counties across the country and in Georgia, we face the challenges of feeding the food insecure in our local communities.
We make a difference to the food insecure population in Hall County by providing nutritious food items for our clients, serving over 4,485 individuals in 2021 alone. We are able to make a difference through the generous contributions received from individuals, organizations, churches, and local businesses. We are an all-volunteer organization and our efforts would not be possible without our treasured volunteers and your compassionate contributions. Thank you for helping us make a difference to the hungry in Hall County. To learn more about the families and individuals we serve, meet them in the Our Clients section of our website. To help us serve more, join us in the Get Involved section of our site. |
The many faces of life's courageous...let's make a difference.
