We have provided below a quick description of local food-assistance resources and phone numbers for accessing those resources in the community.
Please see the right side of this page where the complete guides to all resources in the County are provided for your convenience. Resources in these comprehensive guides include areas such as: childcare, children/teen services, clothing, counseling, legal services, emergency/crisis assistance, development/disabilities, education, employment, pregnancy, financial aid, healthcare, housing/shelter, senior services, substance abuse, and more. Gainesville Action Ministries is a non-profit organization that provides shelter, food, children's services, emergency assistance, resources, and basic needs assistance to homeless and need individuals across North Georgia. http://www.gainesville.actionministries.net The American Red Cross of North Georgia provides relief to victims of disaster, including food, shelter, clothing, and more.
(770) 532-8453. http://www.negaredcross.org Backpack Love is a ministry of Straight Street Revolution giving backpacks of food to children in the Hall County area schools. Backpacks go home with children on Friday afternoons with enough food for approximately 5 people through a weekend. (678) 625-5000.
The Chattahoochee Baptist Association offers a Food Pantry M, W, F, from 9-11am for residents of the Hall County area. Please call (770) 532-3371 for information about eligibility and services.
The Community Service Center coordinates programs and services for residents in Hall County including Meals On Wheels for seniors and other forms of financial aid services. (770) 503-3340

The Free Chapel Food Pantry provides food assistance to those individuals in need in Hall County. Prior approval is needed in order to receive assistance. (678) 677-8300.
Good News at Noon assists families in the Gainesville area by providing lunch every day of the year as well as distributing groceries to need families on Thursday evenings. (770) 503-1366
Joe's Place at Riverbend assists individuals in the community with referrals and free services, including food distribution. (770) 287-1619
Legacy Link, Inc. provides extraordinary services for our senior residents in Hall County. Home delivered meals are just one of their many services for seniors. (770) 538-2650.

http://www.lifelinenow.org More than Enough provides food assistance to families and individuals who meet certain criteria. Persons are eligible for food assistance once a month. (770) 539-4800
Ninth District Opportunity assists low-income families with a variety of services including food assistance. (770) 534-8826.
Northlake Baptist Church provides food assistance for families in need. (770) 536-7338.
The Salvation Army provides basic needs assistance to families including food, shelter, clothing, and emergency financial assistance. Families can receive food every six months. (770) 534-7589.
