Working with Grants
A significant portion of our service and work is made possible through grants from foundations and organizations whose missions are consistent with our mission to feed the hungry.
We engage in rigorous grant application processes throughout the year and have been the recipient of several grants. These grants enable us to purchase the food supplies we need and provide for transportation of those supplies to our food pantry. Our ability to keep pace with the growth in the numbers of families and individuals served over the years has been the direct result of foundations and organizations supporting the needs of the hungry in our community. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to qualify for these grants through our organizational commitment to responsibility, accountability, transparency, and authenticity.
