How do we protect visitor information? We implement a variety of security measures to maintain the safety of your personal information. When you donate to our organization or access your personal information, we use a secure server through PayPal, Inc. All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our service provider's (PayPal, Inc.) databases to be only accessed as stated above. We limit access to your personal information to those employees who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information in order to do their jobs and provide meaningful support for our services. Your email address provided to us for us to provide a service or response, may be used to send you information and updates pertaining to your interest(s), in addition to periodic company news, updates, and/or related product or service information. You may opt out at any time from email communications by following the unsubscribe instructions shown at the bottom of any email we send to you. We do respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal processes, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims. Similarly, it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of our Terms of Use, or as otherwise required by law. We will provide information about you if South Hall Community Food Pantry is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, South Hall Community Food Pantry will notify you before information about you is transferred and/or becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
